For those committed to opportunity, growth, and following their passion, I try and list openings I find to help speed up any search. These jobs are just a sampling of what is in the marketplace.
Many job opening in sports & entertainment are never advertised. They are quietly shopped around since advertising them will mean they need to sift through hundreds of applications. That being said, these have been made public on the Internet and hopefully they help you. We are seeking a seasoned, aggressive and analytical manager to oversee expansion of all sales and marketing activities, with particular focus on music club and promoter clients. Having finished 5th and 6th respectively in the last 2 seasons, Everton Football Club are also building their off pitch commercial success. The club is currently in consultation with the local authorities regarding a new stadium development plan with a final decision on planning due towards the end of the summer. Whilst the club remains confident that this project will be given the authority to proceed, there is also an existing opportunity for the commercial team to develop the business with the current facility and in the international market.
Following a recent re-structure of the commercial team, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sales and Marketing Director to join the club and become a key member of the Executive Team. The role will have responsibility for devising and implementing the commercial strategy (reporting to the CEO) across sponsorship, hospitality, ticketing, retail, media and marketing as well as the foundation and will be pivotal to the club’s commercial growth.
