Top 10- New Viral Videos
From time to time, we take time to review some of the videos teams, people and agencies put together on places like YouTube, Hulu and Funny or Die. Online videos have provided marketers with a new form of branding. These videos must be entertaining to sustain clicks and word of mouth marketing that keeps them popular. During a recent presentation, I told a group of ”under 30′s” that people are paid by Youtube for page views that exceeded 1 milloin hits. Not many in the audience knew this, but the fact is, there is still money to be made if you can bring in the eye balls.
That said, I am not connected with any of these videos which I have found for you to view today. I find them entertaining and hope you will enjoy them as well.
1. This Boston Bruins segment has generated more than 325,000 page views and does a nice job of branding using humor. Simple yet fun. It is called On Dating
2. This second video by the team (advertising agency unknown), but is not as effective in my opinion Bruins Hockey Commercial
3. Anyone who loves the water, the ocean and especially surfing will enjoy this super slomo video. This slo-mo version shows the real beauty of the sport
4. and 5. Nike has come out with two new puppet commercials one with Lebron and his chalk. Based on the page views, my guess is that you have not viewed it yet on Youtube. The second one is called MVPs – Kobe & LeBron (Three Rings)
6. This bird really knows how to putt and to put the basketball in the Net. Larry Bird had nothing on this relative. Link
